#How Jambu works
Jambu is a companion that stays with you. You talk to it the way you would talk to a trusted friend who happens to be good at planning, money, studies and paperwork.
#You talk, it understands
Open Jambu and speak or type. You can write in Hindi, English or a mix of both. Jambu understands what you mean, not only the exact words, and it replies in the language you used.
#Super Jambu leads a team
When you start, you meet Super Jambu, the lead helper. It handles most things itself. When a topic needs a specialist, it brings one in:
- a money mentor for savings, spending and investing basics
- a study coach for exams and learning
- a research mentor for projects and reading
- a counsellor who is there to listen, not to push goals
You can talk to any of them directly by typing @ and picking one.
#It remembers what matters
Jambu keeps a private memory about you: the people you mention, what you like, what you are working on. This is what stops you from starting from zero every day. You can look at your memory, correct it, and delete any part of it.
#Goals with steps and progress
Say what you want to achieve. Jambu turns it into a goal, breaks it into smaller steps, and shows your progress. If you fall behind, it helps you adjust the plan instead of making you feel bad.
#Reminders and your calendar
Ask for a reminder in plain words, such as "remind me about the electricity bill on Friday". Jambu keeps your calendar, and reminds you when the time comes.
#Your library
Add letters, notes and documents to your library. Later you can ask, "what did the bank letter say?" and Jambu reads it for you.
#What Jambu does not do
Jambu is a helper, not a doctor, lawyer or financial adviser. It can explain and organise, and it tells you when you should talk to a professional. It can make mistakes, so check anything important.
Open Jambu or read the documentation.
